According to the printing speed of laser printer, it is divided into low speed powder and high speed powder. Generally, a laser printer with no more than 10 pages per minute is defined as low speed machine, and a laser printer with a number of more than 14 pages per minutes is defined as a high-speed machine, such as HP Color LaserJet Pro M452nw with CF410X toner, which it’s to be used meet the printer large print demands. The biggest difference between the two is that the fixing time of the low speed machine is much longer than that of the high-speed machine, and the fixing temperature of the component is also higher than that of the high-speed machine. Therefore, when filling carbon powder, low speed powder is not a substitute for high speed powder. The main components of carbon powder are resin, carbon black, iron oxide, lubricant and so on, among which iron oxide is the carrier, and the main function of lubricant is to reduce the wear and tear of carbon powder to the sensitive drum to prolong its life. The carbon powder used in the printer is insulated, which produces a certain electrostatic charge through friction, or is positive or negative and has a fixed softening point. So the carbon powder of various models is not universal in principle and we must store it properly to make sure it’s stable performance.
